She/her
You can feel better. My clients are in safe hands — and I'm confident in that.
WHO I help
For people managing lymphoedema, lipoedema, or the physical aftermath of cancer.
Amanda works primarily with people post-cancer or managing lymphoedema and lipoedema — conditions that are often poorly understood, undertreated, and deeply isolating to live with.
Lipoedema clients have frequently been dismissed by GPs — told they simply have 'fat legs' and there's nothing to be done. Lymphoedema clients have often been through the battle of cancer, only to find themselves now navigating a lifelong condition that wasn't fully explained. There's grief in that. And exhaustion.
Amanda also works with anyone who can benefit from lymphatic drainage — which, she points out, is essentially everyone. We all have an immune system that responds well to being supported.
Post-cancer, there's a lot of trauma and body acceptance to work through. Coming in for treatment is a way of taking responsibility for your health — and that matters.
how i work
Specialist bodywork, built on 20 years at the sharp end.
Amanda trained at the Földi Clinic in Germany — one of the most highly regarded lymphoedema training centres in Europe — and went on to work at St George's Hospital in London, one of the country's largest specialist lymphoedema clinics. She's seen and treated the full range.
Her practice draws on Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Bowen Technique, MSTR scar tissue release, and Body Mind Reset Technique — a form of energy work aimed at releasing the subconscious roots of physical conditions.
Clients typically walk out of the room feeling better than when they walked in. Over time, they notice less pain, reduced fluid and inflammation, improved mobility, and a genuine improvement in quality of life.
Our bodies are designed to heal. My job is to give them the right conditions to do it.
It's nice to meet you!
Walks by the sea. Does green bowls. Taking up art.
Amanda came to lymphatic work through a flatmate who was a nurse practitioner at St George's and encouraged her to train. When she did the course at the Földi Clinic in Germany, everything clicked into place. It was one of the first trainings, she says, where she just got it.
Outside of work she walks — walking is massive for her, especially by the sea. She also plays green bowls, has recently started an art class, and spends time with friends.
She is, by her own candid admission, terrible at reading for pleasure. If she's reading, it's professional development. She would like to enjoy fiction more. She hasn't got there yet.
