She/her

My mission is to guide people who feel stuck back to themselves — releasing what no longer serves them, and reigniting their spark for life.

WHO I help

For people in midlife who feel stuck — and know something has to change.

Cathy works predominantly with people in midlife who feel stuck: in a habit they can't shift, a pattern they can see but can't break, or a life that looks fine from the outside but has quietly stopped feeling like theirs.

Many have been through a significant transition — a relationship ending, a health diagnosis, a change in career or identity — that has shone a spotlight on something they can no longer ignore. Others feel like life has simply stagnated: the confidence, desire, or vision they once had has slowly faded.

From the outside, they often appear stable, capable, and functional. Inside, there's often anxiety, stuckness, and the kind of exhaustion that comes from years of overthinking, overfunctioning, and ignoring their own needs.

By the time people come to me, they've usually tried everything else. They're ready to go deeper — and that's exactly when this work is most powerful.

how i work

Hypnotherapy that works with the deeper layers — where patterns actually live.

Cathy blends clinical hypnotherapy with spiritual modalities, working intuitively as an empath and highly sensitive person. Her sessions are deeply client-led, drawing on conversational and cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy, age regression, parts therapy, inner child work, and — where relevant — quantum healing, past life regression, and energy work.

What she brings to the room is an ability to tune into what's really happening beneath the surface, and meet it with precision and care. Clients often feel deeply understood from the first session.

Change can be immediate and profound — sometimes a single session shifts something that's been stuck for years. More often the work unfolds in layers. The acknowledgement that something needs to shift, she says, is often the bravest and hardest step.

I believe we all have the power to support our own healing. My work is about helping people access that power.

It's nice to meet you!

Sings at open mic nights. Maps Devon on OS maps in red pen.

Cathy came to hypnotherapy through a midlife breakdown — the sudden end of a long-term relationship, anxiety, insomnia, and the realisation that she didn't know who she was outside of it. What she found on the other side of that became the foundation of her practice.

Music has been a lifelong passion. She sings and plays piano, performs at open mic nights, and co-directs Red Mud Arts, a local arts organisation involved in events and festivals across Devon. She also loves long walks with her partner, plotting routes on OS maps in red pen.

Her friends would say that beneath the calm, sweet exterior is a very dry, slightly wicked sense of humour that catches people off guard. She is, by everyone's agreement, genuinely and consistently terrible at throwing balls.
