He/him
In 25 years I've seen a lot. But I've never met a body that couldn't benefit from good guidance and the right pair of hands.
WHO I help
For people who've been told there's nothing more that can be done.
Mike works with a wide range of people — from those managing complex neurological conditions like stroke, Parkinson's, and MS, to people dealing with a painful back, persistent migraines, dizziness, or recovery from surgery.
Many of his clients have spent years searching for someone who truly understands what they're dealing with. They've tried routes that haven't worked, been given generic advice, or simply been left without the confident, sensitive guidance they needed.
He has spent 20 years working at the MS Centre in Exeter and understands deeply what it means to live with conditions that are invisible to the outside world — the pain, the uncertainty, the quiet anxiety about the future.
There are many people out there who've given up on ever finding someone who understands their condition. I want to be that person.
how i work
25 years of hands-on expertise — and some genuinely cutting-edge technology.
Working with Mike feels calm and unhurried. He brings deep knowledge across an unusually broad range of modalities — from massage and myofascial work to craniosacral therapy, Bowen Technique, Zero Balancing, breathwork, and the Thor LX2 laser system, one of the most advanced infrared and laser acupuncture tools available.
Sessions build over time. After a few visits, most clients have a home exercise routine refined specifically for them. The body relaxes deeper into the work, and the compound benefits of the infrared and laser treatments accumulate — reducing pain, supporting healing, and restoring balance.
Mike trained with pioneers in Paris, London, Chicago, Mexico, and Ireland. He brings all of that — 25 years of it — into every session.
When people have proper guidance, reassurance, and know what to focus on — they can relax into recovery rather than fight it.
It's nice to meet you!
A Zen dog with magic hands — or so his friends say.
Mike has been drawn to Eastern philosophy since he was a teenager, and has trained in martial arts from fencing to kung fu. He reads widely, writes, swims in cold water, and spends time in saunas. He gives talks on breathwork and new models of consciousness.
He came to physiotherapy through Buddhism and a simple desire to help people rather than spend his working life behind a desk. That instinct hasn't changed.
His closest friends call him a Zen dog with magic hands. His clients tend to agree. He is, by his own admission, genuinely terrible at art, DIY, and timekeeping.
