She/her
"You are more than the struggles that brought you here. Together, we'll make sense of your story, understand what has shaped you, and help you move forward with greater confidence and self-understanding."
WHO I help
For people exhausted by holding everything together.
Rebecca works with children, young people, and adults who often look as though they're coping from the outside. They're still showing up to work or school, caring for other people, meeting expectations, and doing their best to keep going. But underneath, many are carrying anxiety, low mood, trauma, self-doubt, or a constant sense of overwhelm that never seems to fully switch off.
Many of the people she works with have spent years trying to push through. They're the overthinkers. The people-pleasers. The ones who replay conversations long after they've ended and quietly wonder why life feels harder for them than it seems to for everyone else. Some are navigating grief, burnout, neurodiversity, chronic stress, or experiences that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves and the people around them.
By the time they reach out, they're often looking for more than symptom relief. They want to understand why they feel the way they do. Why certain patterns keep repeating. Why they seem stuck in ways they can't quite explain. Most of all, they want to stop feeling as though they're fighting against themselves and start making sense of their own story.
"So many people arrive believing there's something wrong with them. More often than not, there are very good reasons why they've adapted the way they have."
how i work
Curious, thoughtful, and focused on making sense of it all.
Rebecca's approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine curiosity. Clients often notice that she takes the time to understand the bigger picture rather than rushing towards conclusions. She's interested in how experiences, relationships, emotions, thoughts, and life events fit together, and how those pieces have shaped the person sitting in front of her.
Drawing on approaches including EMDR, ACT, IFS, CBT, mindfulness, and attachment-focused work, she tailors therapy to the individual rather than expecting people to fit a particular model. Her clinical psychology background brings depth and expertise, while her personal warmth helps clients feel able to talk about things they've often kept hidden for years.
The work tends to unfold in stages. First comes understanding. Then recognising patterns. Then finding new ways of responding. Over time, clients often become less self-critical, more confident in themselves, and better able to navigate life's challenges without feeling controlled by anxiety, fear, or old habits. The goal isn't to become a different person. It's to understand yourself well enough to live more freely as the person you already are.
"I don't believe people are broken. I believe people make sense, and understanding that is often where change begins."
It's nice to meet you!
Pilates. Planners. A very happy stationery aisle.
Rebecca's fascination with people began long before her clinical psychology training. As the eldest child, she often found herself playing peacemaker, trying to understand different perspectives and helping people feel heard. Her own experiences of trauma, anxiety, depression, and recovery deepened that curiosity and continue to shape the compassion she brings to her work.
Outside of therapy, you'll usually find her at Reformer Pilates, curled up on the sofa with her cat and a good book, or getting far more excited than most people would by a fresh notebook, colour-coded pens, and a perfectly organised planner.
