You don't have to keep carrying everything on your own just because you always have.

WHO I help

For the dependable ones — the carers, the helpers, the ones everyone else leans on.

Sophie often works with people who look like they're coping. They're the dependable ones — the professionals, parents, carers, high achievers. People assume they're fine because they keep showing up, keep functioning, keep holding things together.

Underneath, many feel anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly lost. Some feel numb. Some feel like they're permanently on alert. Some no longer fully recognise themselves.

Many have been carrying this for years without fully slowing down to understand what's underneath it. They come to therapy after burnout, grief, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, identity loss, or the slow accumulation of pressure they can no longer ignore.

Many of my clients are carrying far more than anyone around them can see — and have been doing so for a very long time.

how i work

Relational, intuitive therapy that goes beneath the surface.

Sophie works relationally and intuitively, drawing on integrative psychotherapy and mindfulness-based approaches. She helps clients understand not just what they're experiencing, but why — the psychological and nervous-system patterns behind the feelings.

Clients often describe feeling deeply understood and emotionally safe. The space is human, not clinical. Sometimes she and a client sit with difficult emotions; sometimes they challenge old patterns; sometimes there's unexpected lightness.

Over time, people become more emotionally connected and self-aware — able to communicate their needs, set boundaries, and regulate difficult emotions with more compassion than judgement. The work moves at your pace, and it goes as deep as you're ready for.

You don't have to keep surviving alone. Therapy can be the place where you finally start reconnecting with yourself.

It's nice to meet you!

More playful than you'd expect. Terrible at estimating how long things take.

Sophie grew up moving between different cultures and environments, which gave her an early understanding of how powerful it is to feel truly seen and understood. Therapy became less of a career choice and more something that felt deeply meaningful — and right.

Walking on Dartmoor or through wooded coastal paths genuinely resets her. She loves creating calm spaces at home, long conversations with people she trusts, and travelling. Small, quiet moments restore her more than anything loud or busy.

Her friends would say she's much more playful and down-to-earth than people expect. She will also tell you honestly when you're being too hard on yourself. And she is chronically bad at estimating how long any DIY or garden project will actually take.
