Massage Therapist, Facial and Auricular Acupuncture, Reiki Practitioner

Tracey Parsons

She/her

“I want you to go away feeling refreshed, with a sense that it’s possible to get back to yourself.”

WHO I help

Everyone says you’re doing well. You’re feeling the strain.

Being told how well they’re doing can feel strangely lonely when they’re exhausted underneath. Tracey works with adults who keep going through deadlines, long hours and other people’s expectations, while finding it harder to sleep or properly switch off. They know they need some time for themselves. Making room for it is another matter.

For some, the pressure is about keeping up appearances. Looking put together, accepting the next invitation, spending money they’d rather save. Compliments keep coming, but feeling good about themselves takes more and more effort. Others arrive carrying physical tension alongside worries they’ve barely had a moment to acknowledge.

They may have been curious about massage, Reiki or acupuncture for a while, without knowing which to try or what to expect. Tracey welcomes that uncertainty. Clients can ask questions before booking, including the ones they worry might sound silly, and talk through what they’re hoping to get from a treatment.

“I don’t think we ever really know what’s going on in someone’s life, even when they seem to have it together.”

how i work

A calming presence. Time to stop keeping everything going.

Tracey brings a friendly, calming manner and a real interest in what has brought someone through the door. She knows an unfamiliar treatment can feel like a big step, especially when time or money is tight. There’s room to ask questions and explain what feels uncomfortable, without needing to know the terminology.

Her work includes Swedish massage for those wanting a treatment centred on touch, and Reiki for those drawn to a quieter session with time to rest. She also offers lymphatic drainage and facial and auricular acupuncture. The conversation before treatment helps establish what the client is looking for and which option may suit them.

Her hope is that clients leave feeling more relaxed and refreshed, with a little more room between themselves and the pressures of the day. Over time, she hopes that making space for themselves becomes easier, too. The work starts with paying attention to how they feel, rather than carrying on until they have nothing left.

“I know making that first appointment can be a big move, especially when time or money is tight. I believe starting with one thing can help.”

It's nice to meet you!

Quirky hippie. Charity-shop browser. Always another course in mind.

Tracey first trained in massage at 25, following an interest in complementary therapies that began in her teens, and still gets excited about learning something new. Away from work, she restores herself with sea air, sunshine on her face, a good chat or a roam around a car boot sale. She admits she’s much better at reminding other people to look after themselves than doing it herself.
