If life right now feels like a difficult chapter, therapy can help you understand the story — and hand you the pen to start writing the next one.
WHO I help
For young people carrying more than anyone around them realises.
Vikki works mainly with young people and teenagers — though her work extends to adults too — who feel overwhelmed internally, even when they appear fine on the outside.
Many have spent a long time masking. They've become skilled at coping outwardly: staying funny, staying busy, staying agreeable — while underneath, there's anxiety, emotional exhaustion, shame, or a nervous system that no longer feels safe. Some have never been helped to understand their own emotional world. They just know something feels wrong, and they don't know why.
The struggle shows up in sleep, concentration, friendships, school attendance, confidence, and the ability to feel present. Some feel permanently switched on; others feel numb and disconnected from who they are.
People describe these young people as capable, funny, resilient. Underneath that can be anxiety, fear of failure, hypervigilance, and a constant pressure to hold everything together.
how i work
A space to exhale, speak honestly, and be exactly who you are.
Vikki brings a wide range of therapeutic approaches — person-centred, IFS, DBT, somatic therapy, and emotional systems psychoeducation — and adapts these to each individual. With younger clients especially, she often draws on creative expression: art, journaling, music, and play.
What clients notice most is that the space feels calm, still, and completely free of judgement. Young people regularly tell her they feel able to exhale for the first time in sessions. 'Oh my god, how do you know that?' is something she hears often.
Over time, many begin to recognise their triggers earlier, regulate their emotions more effectively, communicate differently, and develop a stronger, more grounded sense of who they are. The work isn't about becoming someone different — it's about understanding what developed, and why.
I don't see young people as problems to fix. I see human beings who've learned to adapt — and who deserve to understand themselves.
It's nice to meet you!
Finds peace in the things that have always been there.
Vikki has worked as a school counsellor for 15 years. She's always been drawn to understanding people beneath the surface — the patterns, the survival strategies, the experiences that quietly shape who someone becomes.
When she needs to restore herself, she stops thinking. She walks with a weighted jacket, noticing the air, the sky, the trees, the deer at sunset. She photographs flowers. She wonders how old the trees are and what they might have seen.
Her friends would say she's reflective and analytical — but also someone who laughs a lot, notices small details, and asks very deep questions at completely random moments. She regularly loses her phone or keys while actively holding them in her hands.
